Open to randomly selected pairs of Class A and Class B members of the Guernsey Rifle Club. Pairs may coach one another. Distances: 300 and 600 yards. Number of shots: 2 sighting shots and 7 shots to count at each distance. First Prize: Two engraved glasses. Handicap: Class B competitors are entitled to have up to one point and one V-bull added to their scores at each distance up to the maximum score at that distance. For example, a score of 33.3v would become 35.5v, while scores of 34.6v or 35.6v would become 35.7v. A tie for the first prize will be shot off on the spot by one competitor from each pair. If unresolved, the tie will be shot off by the remaining competitor from each pair, followed immediately by a sudden death shoot off if required.
