Forms part of the Spring Prize. Open to all comers. For the concurrent Class B competition see the Highfield. Distances: 300, 500, and 600 yards. Number of shots: 2 sighting shots and 7 shots to count at each distance. First Prize: The Falla “A” Trophy, a hallmarked silver cup (originally the Jersey Rifle Association’s Gallichan Cup, first presented in 1928, and won in perpetuity by HN Falla in 1951) first awarded in 2000. A tie for the first prize will be shot off on the spot.
