Open to representative teams of four formed either from members of the Elizabeth College Rifle Club, or from residents of a particular parish or collection of parishes. Distances: 300 and 600 yards. Number of shots: 2 sighting shots and 10 shots to count at each distance. First Prize: The Elliott Trophy, a hallmarked silver cup with lid presented by Mrs AL Elliott and first awarded in 1937, awarded to the highest aggregate team score following the application of the Handicap. Handicap: Class B competitors are entitled to have up to two points and two V-bulls added to their scores at each distance up to the maximum possible score at that distance. For example, a score of 48.3v would become 50.5v, while scores of 48.8v, 48.9v, or 49.9v would become 50.10v. A tie for the first prize will be decided on count back.
