OUR HOME
The rifle range at Fort Le Marchant was opened in 1955. Built using funds from the States of Guernsey and the disbanded Royal Guernsey Militia, the new range gave marksmen the ability to compete and practice in Guernsey at Bisley’s Century Range distances of 300, 500 and 600 yards.

Said to be one of the most scenic ranges in the world, shooters can enjoy superb views to the west across L’Ancresse bay and onwards to Chouet; and to the north and north-east, out into the English Channel and, on a clear day, Les Casquets and Alderney on the horizon.
Before the club made its home at Fort Le Marchant, there were three other ranges across various parts of L’Ancresse common, one stretching back to a 1,000 yards firing point over what is now a golf and race course.
